Two from a recent outing. Critiques always welcome.

1 - An old Hematite mining camp.

2 - The sun sets on White Mountain Peak.

Thanks! Nope... it's a 3-shot HDR processed in Nik's HDR Efex Pro, then converted to B&W using Nik's Silver Efex Pro 2.

Those are both great...makes me want to head up there right now. I love the views from high in the Whites. I do wish the second one was wider, but i think that about most shots. The first one, I think you should take over to the current challenge, which is b&w or monotone, and enter it straightaway.

Thanks for the comments. I hadn't noticed the challenge, and I think I will enter it.

That first shot is very, very well done. Great composition. Excellent PP work. It's a real winner.

Love the drama in your B/W very cool and your second image is coated in some beautiful light, very interesting foreground too.
