I was thinking that a challenge about monotones (the shades between black and white most of the time) would give me a chance to try a multi-cultural shot. I am a teacher in Korea at the moment but I have a lot of friends from different cultural backgrounds in foreigner community. I was able to gather them in the park one Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately the shade was very hard to come by and so I ended up on a pathway with my models on the ground and me being lifted by two friends to get the angle I wanted.
What are your thoughts on this shot?

I love the concept of conveying diversity in monochrome, but I'm not sure it's really working here. It's a little like trying to show the a rainbow in B&W.
