Some shots from the last official fly day of the year at Paine Field, Everett WA.

First, an oddity, taking off with the bomb bay doors open! This is the B-25D "Grumpy" from the Historic Flight Foundation.

There is a guy in the back who later sits in the rear turret - must have been breezy!

And the other aircraft, a freshly restored B-25J "Buster" from the Flying Heritage Collection.

Nice shots. I got to go up in one of these planes several years ago. Even with ear plugs, it was exceptionally LOUD.....but also very exciting.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

These are great - I especially like the last. I think it would make for a great black/white!

Very nice work! I'm lucky that I get to shoot a B-25 regularly, they really are beautiful aircraft. Good job on these.
