The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brook Atkinson- 1951
I dunno.... When the image appeared on my screen, the page break showed the top 1/3 so the hand jumped out at me right away, then I scrolled down for the rest of the image. So my focal point was the hand first and I think the title worked.
Then to play a bit, I set it up to see the image full frame and every time I looked where the subject looked first, the hand. Kind of funny how the human brains work, huh?
As for the shot, I think it's an awesome capture. But I'm really liking quirky stuff of late and this, for me works.

So if you want the viewer the see the interaction between the hand/the face right off
then B&W is how I would present it.
