VERY nice series...

For me, these are the essence of street photography and very well done. My fav's are #3 with the juxtaposition of the kimono with a cell phone, and #4 as coming across as the circle of life.

What are you using for the muted color effects? It's very nice.

I'd agree with Scott on #s 3, 4 and 7. I especially like the girl in #3 working at being inscrutable. Good shooting, Nelson.

Thank you guys. The girl in the kimono was looking at the WTC.

I use Photoshop to process my pics. Lots of layers, curves and color fills.

Haha- Thanks. I talked to the guy with the "Whatever.." shirt. his name is Joe Smokes Wisdom. Very eccentric, it is always a pleasure to meet and photograph people like that.
