    I llike the motion on the chips Sandi. although I wish it were a bit more prominent.

    All of your shots are great, but I just love Checkers--the shot and the shoes! I wonder if it could do with a bit of brightening...not so much that we lose the shadows falling away into the black background, but just enough so that the white texture snaps a little more. Just a thought!

    I like #1 b/c you can see the entire pair of shoes. With #2, my eyes stop at where the left shoe gets cropped at. That sort of puts it at a dead-stop for me. Increasing the contrast on #1 would make it a greater piece. Try that out and let's see how it looks.
