It looks kind of blue.....sorry bad joke :).

This just has to have a story behind it.....looks like it has been there for weeks with the vegetation growing around and making it part of the fence.
I am going with high school prank. Some kids stole their teachers bike from the school then padlocked it to this fence where they knew said teacher would subsequently be walking by every day on the way home....and would no doubt see it there....every day...(yeah I know they would cut the lock, hey it's just a story).

What's odd is the fact that the seat/post, and rear wheel assembly are still intact after enough time for the vines to grow. Can't quite tell if the lock goes through the front wheel as well. Yet with quick-releases on the components, wherever that bike is, would appear to be a very safe neighborhood.

I like the angle you shot this at and the lines of the fence in its composition...

Image probably not important. This is by far the longest title that B.D. has posted in his long and distinguished career. Dementia? Weeklong drunk? Something worse?...rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.giflust

What god of Smug did I anger? None of BD's photos show up anymore. Logged in, or not logged in.

Something in my browser? Used to see them all, changed a week or so ago.

Yeah, something is b0rked right now. Smug status shows DGrin and all of SM is up. ne_nau.gif

With a thread title like this, I really want to see the pic!

EDIT: It isn't Smugmug. The pic link doesn't point to anything.

Apologies, and I'll get it up later today - it's a link from my Tumblr photo blog, and that obviously isn't going to work...
