C&C My Logo 2nd try

I have been working on a logo off and on for a little while and I have a couple that I like. I also wanted to get some other inputs.

If it is supposed to be read as "R - P - Photography" than 1 and 3 do not work. They look like "R - Photography". Try changing the font on one or the other...maybe make the "photography" a simpler font.

None of them work for me; the font in says "fussy" to me. It does not give the look I would expect of a professional photographer. What are you trying to convey?

If those are the only options, then I like #1 the best. Though, I have to agree with Nate's assessment.

Thank you very much for your comments, I guess I have to head back to the drawing board.
In answer to your question-- I am just trying to come up with a simple but nice looking logo.

You're not using a clean font. Simple to me is not script-based, it's clean, something like the font Verdana. Also, a multi-line logo means your banner / navbar area needs to be taller. The more space you take for your banner / navbar the less is devoted to the prime purpose of the site, your photos. Keep in mind that while your current logo isn't excessively tall, some of your viewers may be using a laptop or a netbook to view your site.

As already stated, pick a different font (or hire a graphic designer). The font is probably one of the generic fonts boxed from your computer. Try www.dafont.com
