update : // THE ANSWER IS IN MY POST BELOW //

For this page :
http://anacapaeventphotography.smugmug.com/gallery/19280281_rN5tms

How do you make a page that has just text, no gallery images.
I have the images hidden but then it shows that black box that says:
"This gallery has no photos to display yet."

I want it to be something like this: http://www.darbym.com/Content/investment/13400556_n6XzK

    Stupid
    I figured it out.

    .nophotos {
    display:none;
    }

    You know what is stupid....
    There is no "Visitor View" button once you go past the homepage.

    If you're in visitor view and you are trying to use the Advanced code editor it makes you log back in, thus losing your work. This forces me to have 2 computers or 2 browsers going just to check my work. -LAME

    When you customize, looking at at your site in at least one other browser is highly recommended as code may vary depending on what browser is used. That method is also faster than constantly switching into visitor view if you just want to review a small change quickly.

    It actually used to be there a couple of years back. Then they removed it and recommended the two browser method because it worked inconsistently. Then they said you should use it because it works fine. Then they say use two browsers again. ne_nau.gif

    I really don't get this. It's simply not faster to open a whole new browser & page if you just want to quickly view a small change! How could it be? It was always infinitely faster to simply hit the "Visitor View" button. And I still really miss the days when it was available on every page. I know that you may need to check your site in two browsers when customizing, but there are a lot of other times when Visitor View is/WAS handy. That's only one of the many uses of it, and for many of its other uses, opening a whole new browser is both time-consuming and unnecessary.

    Visitor view is a simulation. You aren't really logged out - they just have to simulate you being logged out and they put extra stuff in your page to show you you're in visitor view. I can't speak to why they reduced the places you can get to visitor view, but I don't use it because I'd rather see the real visitor view rather than a simulation.
