    Michael, what sort of modifier are you using on the strobe here?
    I agree that #1 is the much better of the two. I think it could be improved with less light hitting her shoulder and arms (IMHO).

    In 1 the lighting is harsh but if that was the effect go for it. However her bright/white shoulder/breast competes too much with her face. I know where I should look but I know where I'm looking.

    Thanks guys. I appreciate some useful feedback!

    The set up was two Einsteins. 1 on camera left with a 64 PCB PLM with a white diffuser (acts like a 50 softbox). 1 on camera right up high and bare with just a regular reflector on it.

    I do see the harsh light now that you mention it. I have some grids (the ones that just snap into the 7 inch reflector) on order to contain the light better so it will just be a hair light and not spill so much.

    The second shot was more of an out take of her laughing and I thought it was interesting.
