I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks, Joel, for your support. I'm telling you, this Tokina AT-X 20-35 2.8 is one of the best lenses I've ever seen....rivals any of my high-end Nikon glass.

    Hey you,

This old structure is, I think, the remains of an old church. It's on the grounds where a more modern church is also located. It's in an area of St. Augustine called Lincolnville....a predominately black neighborhood. Of approximately 600 buildings in the neighborhood, over 400 have some historical significance. I will visit this site again as this dilapidated building is a real treasure-trove for this kind of shooting.

    You and KK take care,

    Tom

Awesome place and great shot of it. I really like the different openings on the building. Even the front door is askew .. perfect thumb.gif

Glad you like it, Mary. I know that you have a fondness for old buildings and such.....just as I do. This old place is huge. There's a lot of shooting to be done before I'm through with it.

    Take care,

    Tom

I really appreciate you looking in. There'll be more shots like this coming soon. I haven't begun to exhaust the potential of this building and this area of St. Augustine offers additional structures that will be exciting candidates as well.

Very nice capture...I love the subtle colors and interesting detail. Hope to get to shoot this when I visit you this winter (hint hint) :D
Apparently there's a lot more to see and shoot in St. Augustine than we had time for last year.

    Be well my friend
