Loved the conversion on #1, Don. The texture, detail, and composition is really good. Personally, Your second image appeals stronger for me. I love how your strongly positioned the shed on the top right. Also, you in a very subtle way, you gave me 3 focus points forming a strong triangular area on the frame to pin my attention namely the shed, the worn out sandal, and the piece of plywood lying on the ground. I am very much intrigued as to how you would convert #2 in b&w? Awesome work, Don. Cheers. thumbclap

The second one was a blend of the color shot and a black-and-white converstion. This is the bw version...not enough separation to stand on its own, I think.
