this time its a 500mm telephoto with a 2x telephoto and a solar filter.
what I did was after putting the lens on the camera and on the tripod I took a solar filter that i had with a telescope I used to have and duct taped it over the lens hood so it wouldnt come off. the solar filter is from here
Solar Filters
I took about a dozen images.. I did have a reflection problem on some of them which is a problem when using this setup.. the best exposures seemed to come with an exposure of f/16 with a shutter speed around 1/800 at iso 200. i shot around high noon in an attempt to minimize reflections.
NEVER ATTEMPT WITHOUT A PROPER SOLAR FILTER. THE SUN THROUGH THE LENS WITH BLIND YOU AND WILL DESTROY YOUR CAMERA WITHOUT A FILTER.!!!!!!!
