Totally awesome! I went to Petit Lemans in 2010 and it was a really cool experience. Shooting at night was next to impossible though. :cry

    Great stuff!

1 & 3 - Spectator Hill? If so, when were you there? That's where I shot the start of the race from.
    2 & 4 - Outside of 10b exit?
shot #5 is obviously turn 8, but I can't remember where you would have been standing to get this angle.

    Again, fantastic work!

1 & 3 - Yes this was just past Turn 5 coming out of "The Esses"...I was there for about an hour around noon time.

2 & 4 - Yes these were take coming out of Turn 10b heading up the hill to the underpass.

5 - Yep...right at Turn 8...I was standing right along the fence.

Only my second time shooting racing...I think I wore my camera out.

    Where are your shots?

    Where are your shots?

Hiding from yours because they don't feel worthy lol3.gif

I'll probably post some stuff here in the next couple of days. Until then, gallery link.

Sounds like we just missed each other on Spectator Hill. Speaking of hills, what did you think of that oh-so-pleasant walk up Buzz Kill Hill (that's what the locals call it) to get over to the turn 5 area?

I figured that the shuttle would be packed on Saturday, but I knew I didn't want to deal with that damn hill. I decided to follow the infield side fence away from turn 5, along the esses and up towards turns 2,3-4. It would have been a great idea except for the creek with no bridge over it. You have to clamber down through weeds, brush and downed fences to get to the creek, cross that and then bush-whack your way back out. The funny thing was I was stood for a good 10 minutes down by the creek waiting for the flow of people coming the other way to die down so I could cross.

While we're on the subject of Petit Le Mans galleries, I thought I'd throw mine in. These are from 2009 and 2010. I didn't make the 2011 event due to poor planning.
