A pleasant sunset in the city a few nights back. (apologies, don't often post in Landscapes, mostly in Macro:))

The first image shows the changing skyline from the Canning Dock. The museum of Liverpool, some new office buildings and a hint of the iconic Liver Buildings determined not to be obscured completely.

Another view, this time with the Pumphouse pub in the frame

....and finally, this time with the rather well known Light Ship within the frame

    Thank you Doug. :)

To some it's a step forwards and to many it's a blot on the landscape as they obscure one of Liverpools most famous buildings (The Liver Buildings). However, the Liver buildings can be viewed from other parts of the city and they're no less grand :)

That first one is wonderful...the varied architecture, the reflection and the light are all very compelling.

    Thanks again :)

Hmm, wonder if we have any medieval buildings in the city. I would imagine so but would need to research that :)

I really like the last one. The lines draw you in nicely to the photo. Wonderful composition!
