Watermarks wont remove....

I habe a gallery which has watermarks enabled...i changed the watermark to a custom one...they all changed . i can even change them back to the smugmug standard PROOF but what i cant do is get rid of them...help!!!?????

    Do you make sure to use the Tools button > many photos > more > watermarking tool within the gallery? That's the tool to use to remove, add or change watermarks on existing photos in a gallery.
    After using the tool, it can take a while for the changes to process.

    Is there a reason you can't edit the gallery options and select "Watermark: no" I thought this would remove them.. Guessing not?

    Nope, that only sets if images uploaded are automatically watermarked. This can be handy if you want to upload a batch with watermarks and then one without to the same gallery. The watermarking tool (Tools-->Many Photo--Watermark) is used to add/remove watermarks once images are in the gallery.
