I don't understand how this works:

I don't see how the swivel mount connects to the super clamp. there seems to be another part that is required.

can anyone point me to a specific model on B&H or elsewhere for the superclamp and swivel mount? There is no Bogen superclamp on B&H so I'd guess the Manfrotto superclamp would be closest but it doesn't look like the one in the photo.

Looks like a Super Clamp with a standard stud and connected to that is a Photoflex Heavy Duty Swivel Mount (also with a stud). The flash unit is connected to that.

The stud is what you attach your Light clamp.

The Photoflex mount give you the ability to aim your flash higher or lower. The only other thing you need is your flash and sync cord.

Though it won't hold up to running around, for a fairly sedentary setup you could attach the flash to the monopod with a simple gorillapod.
