Nice story told in 6 images.

If I were to do it I might add a 7th to close this with an Opening Curtain Shot.

Liz, I love these! I especially enjoy #6...there is so much energy in the principal subject's face (and such a beautiful face!). I also adore #2...especially her wonderful freckles!

Looks like you had a lot of fun backstage.

My suggestion is to go find the gal in #6 and do classic/vintage pin-up shots with her and your 'Liz Processing'. :D

    hey Benjamin,
Thank you. I was hired to shoot backstage, so that's what I did. I stuck around for a bit but they were running seriously behind schedule, and there wasn't a stage. Awkward setting, so I left. Though the image that comes to mind from your suggestion would have tied this in in beautifully.

#6 is one of my faves. The girl came alive right infront of the camera, but otherwise was unnoticable. She's the same girl from #3 in the long checkered dress, hard to believe no?

I got a teeny tiny taste of this type of life many many years ago and it was shortlived, I was thrilled to be behind the lens instead. So much more fun :D.

I did, the tension was running high, but I was having a blast.

I've tried to do the posed staged thing to little successne_nau.gif. But some have already started to contact me so who knows.

they were the makeup artists and in most of my shots as this was the girls getting ready.
I wonder if this would have been better without them, I'm not so sure. Though now you have me thinking.

It's funny I shot this to catch the backstage action, I'm not sure how they will feel about some of the shots. I got plenty of fluff for them too, but shots such as this series, I'm not sure if they will be appreciated. Like #1 for instance.

I'll bet many of them will love the shots. I was a theater director (professor) for a large part of my career and I loved backstage shots! I liked it when our photographers (usually art students) caught the magic and energy backstage as well as onstage. When I see backstage photos of any sort, the memories just come flooding back... iloveyou.gif

Nice backstage feel from the series. I like the perspective of #2. Also, six is the most interesting. It is your only color shot and YET, you converted it to B/W for the challenge...

I thought #6 the best shot of that series in color or black and white. Though my eyes danced at the color version, I very much liked it in mono too, so....

    Thanks Rainbow.
