We went to the local pumpkin patch the other day to get some cheap pumpkins and hopefully some nice pics. When we got there it was pretty picked over not leaving much to shot. I made due with what I could:

These were all taken with the kit lens on my 300d.
Hope you enjoyed them

Hi there Susan and Eric.....Pumpkin is my favourite, right next to brocholi rolleyes1.gif
I like it steamed, boiled, baked, fried, chipped, microwaved ...... but many countries don't eat it, rather they feed it to the animals.

Here in Australia I gotta tell you we grow some of the most tastiest pumpkins I have ever eaten....... the Queensland Blue is my favourite, I also like the Butternut as well.

They come in all shapes and sizes don't they, and lots of different colours too...... I like your selective colour shot, that looks great, good choice on your part there.
You even got yourself a couple of bugs I see clap.gif a bonus hu :D
Nice series you've posted here........ Skippy (Australia)

After watching this forum I have been bitten by the macro bugrolleyes1.gif
I do not currently have a macro lens so this is as good as it gets. A new macro lens is next on my list, hopefully santa knows I was good this year and checks HIS list.

I really like #5 a lot. These are really good, even if they are not with a Macro lens. If you are lookig to get a Macro, let me suggest the Canon 100mm f/2.8 it is an awsome lens.

After seeing so many people produce great shots with this lens it is the one I want.

Since I recently received a raise and promo at work hopefully I'll be getting this sooner rather than later.

    Thanks for the suggestion,

I wouldn't be able to use the any of these as they were taken on the Sunday before the challenge started and that would be against the rules. Thanks for the encouragement though.
