    It's a generally nice shot. thumb.gif
However there are few thing with drew my "critique eye"'s attention.
    1. The whole image looks flat. It cries for "multiply" blend or some other color adjustment (LAB being the latest rage around here for this kind of shots)
    2. Sky totally blown out (which can be OK), and substantial amount of PF is visible on the tree branches.
    3. Image looks soft, some sharpening may help
    4. There is a piece of something on the lower left portion of the picture - I would suggest to crop it or to "patch it"
That's about it. Most, if not all, of the issues mentioned above are easily curable in PS/PSP under 15 (if not 5) minutes of work..

Good luck, and once again, welcome to dgrin!

    Cheers!1drink.gif

Prolly too much sharpening now. :):
Colors - hard to say. I'd do more "saturation", but may be you wanted pale colors, so it's up to you.ne_nau.gif
    Crop is much better!thumb.gif
Still some serious PF in the tree against the skies..rolleyes1.gif

    Hi Canderson!

As Nik said, it's a nice picture.

The thing that most bothers me is the composition, an issue I find myself struggling a lot with. The road leading into the trees is a nice idea, and I think you should play with it some more to try and get a stronger effect.

As much as I'm always a fan of the "road leading off into the image" genre, I really like the waterside image better for this challenge, though the colors look a little bit flat in it... I'd bet some time in photoshop with the curves, hsb, or other color controls might really make that image pop.
