Took some pictures today at lunch and this is one that I could easily work in PSP9. Going after the fall feel and have a little goose to go:D.
Nearly full frame; I was lying on the ground with some free lunch for them.
Canon EOS 20D ,Canon 50mm f/1.8, 1/1500s f/5.6 at 50.0mm iso200
Oops, forgot to change the iso back down to 100. Oh well.
Thanks for looking and comments are welcome,
Chris

I like the composition and the colors! At 50mm, you must have been pretty close. I guess sharing your lunch helped.

It's hard to get detail on these black headed honkers. You did well.
I suppose I should try bribing as well!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I think it's been said here many times before, "It's all about Food" and these geese were no different. They were close enough to me for me to be worried about being bit by them. A goose bite is not a comfortable thing to happen. A goose kept getting so close to me that he/she would hiss because it was too close:D. There were a few moments where I was concerned that the goose would peck at my camera. Well worth the risk to life and limb.

The shots taken with shade in the background does blend well with the heads and necks. What was disappointing is when I checked this shot on my home monitor (calibrated), most of the detail in the neck had been drowned out. I did this at work and it seems I need to calibrate this monitor as well because I can see lots of detail in the neck from here.
Bribing works wonders, just watch out for the aggressive ones as they will bit you for the bread. Greedy little buggers.

I was pleased with the detail results from the 50mm. I doesn't look like it's over sharpened on this monitor, I tend to over due it sometimes. This one didn't require much sharpening at all.

Now I wish I could find some Baldies around here that I should shoot with the 50mm and still see them inthe shot.
