not showing

I just uploaded some photos into an existing gallery, and they aren't showing. And a photo that I uploaded about 10 minz ago that was previously showing isn't now.

    fyi, when i tried to re-upload them, it showed them as duplicates. Then, then I closed the upload window, all of the images are now showing. WEIRD!

    Smuggy, please get the engineers on this. Thanks!

    And I don't know if it is related, but sometimes when I try to load my web page it comes up as not available,, Then when I try to reload a again a second later, it comes up. I haven't seen this behavior before. Is there something wrong with the connections to the servers?

    Uploaded photos not showing in gallery
    Sometimes you have to go to arrange photos and hit save changes, even though the new photos aren't there, which takes you back to the gallery, and the new photos will be there. Then back to arrange photos to put them where you want them in the gallery. When that doesn't work, closing Smugmug and re-opening it generally works. Sometimes you just have to come back later.

    Now I find a gallery with over 600 images has been re-arranged and I will have to go through and put it back the way it was. I had hoped this auto arrange feature of Smugmug was no longer in effect. Not very happy right now.

    I experienced the same thing. Uploaded 50 photos. Showed up... then refresh, now all gone!
    I checked my Upload Log. The photos were indeed uploaded, but they have all disappeared!

    Follow up. Photos have reappeared. I didn't do anything...

    My scrambled gallery is gone, it seems to serving up one from yesterday. Everything uploaded today is not showing and the upload log shows no errors. Logging out shows the same old gallery as I see in owner view, the one without today's uploads.

    No response from Smugmug either.

    Scary stuff. Just happened to me. :cry Uploaded three images, linked to one of them, and then all three were gone!

    This is the first time I've seen anything completely disappear from SM. Scared the crap out of me!! This is a serious issue that needs the help desk's attention. Anyone emailed them yet? headscratch.gif

    Some additional information. I thought it might have just been one computer/browser, so I switched to another computer running a different browser and same thing. ne_nau.gif

    Hello all,

    We had some problems with uploading photos that caused the photos to seem to disappear and then reappear later on. We got the problems sorted out, you shouldn't see it anymore but more importantly, I apologize for no one posting sooner and for leaving you all hanging.
