Hello there,
I managed to redirect my subdomain to my smugmug domain:
http://photo.janriggert.com
But when I try to enter my subdomain at the Smugmug settings page,
I get this error:
What is this CNAME? My webhost is All-Inkl.com
Thank you in advance,
Jan

It looks like your domain host is using a forward or some other type of redirect and those will not work. It must be a CNAME.
I recommend you turn off what is currently setup and contact us on the help desk with your domain host login information. One of the domain heroes will set it up for you.

Will do.
Thanks, Jan

It turned out that I am not allowed to change the DNS settings (which is need for the CNAME redirecting).
I would have to upgrade my webhost account. Which I dont want ($$$).
Now I just have a regular redirection... Or I make a simple (invisible) HTML-frameset, and just load the SmugMug gallery into that. Might try that and see if any other problems occur.
However, the SmugMug guys have been very helpful. Thumbs up!

As a note, we advise against frame or masked forwarding / redirecting as it will likely cause problems with password protected galleries and our shopping cart. Basically any part of the site using cookies may be affected. You can identify such an unsupported forwarding if the address in your browser's address bar is stuck on your domain and doesn't reflect any links you click on your SmugMug site.

I removed the frame forwarding, because everytime you load a new page it flashes white for the fraction of a second.
All the best, Jan
