I like the idea and the concept, but seeing these manly men in feminine poses just makes me chuckle. Which I guess depending on your intent, could be a good thing.
I'd kinda like to see the same concept done with a bit more masculine posing and see how it looks.
I looked at all the pictures and laughed, especially the baseball player... then I made the mistake of scrolling down and reading the comments section on the petapixel page. Now I only feel shame and disappointment for being of the same species as some of these people.
A classic pose is missing, the one where the gal is crawling out of the water toward the camera with her rump up in the air and her chest tilted downward to full advantage.
Had to smile! It's the "earnestness" of this genre which is so well charicatured! Of course, to really get down to the matter, accidents would need to happen to the wardrobes, and advantage taken of those to push certain body parts in your face. As is it's way too polite.
Yeah cross-genre, but one can cross the other way too. "Male glamour" is just as ripe for satire!
