Yeah, gotta love the ironing board. I'd use that and toss the other getting ready shots. I'd toss the engagement shots too - You're gonna be in a room full of beautiful brides, and I think the plainclothes engagements, while good, will look mundane in comparison.
I'd also like to see more shots of the actual wedding or reception. I wasn't wowed by 15,16, or 29, and I think brides are gonna wanna see how you perform under pressure. Anyone can take a great staged shot if given enough time, but turning a live event into a work of art is a much rarer skill.
Best of the Best at Waukesha expo center on the 12th and 13th. Thanks for the comments and I agree with your comments about candids, but these are not the extent of what I am showing. These are just the wall hangers. The candid moments tend to be far more personal. Many of those will be in the slideshow and in the books, and Milwaukee isn't all that progressive to really appreciate candids like some areas of the country. There are also other smaller prints that will be around the booth.
I ordered the prints today and ordered a few alternates so I could call an audible if something didn't print like I hoped. The primary pic is the iron shot. there will be a couple of e-session shots in the main montage but primarily it will be posed wedding formals. I will put up some pictures of the entire framed montage after I get it put together next week. My framer is going to matte everything with window mounts, and they will all be built into a barnwood frame and supported by the sliding door hardware. This part is very exciting for me and I think it is going to be over the top.
Thanks everyone for the help and the comments!!!

Ironing board ftw!!! :giggle (as you know, I that shot)
I sure hope this yields a bunch of contacts for you Matt - you've put so much thought and energy into this! Milwaukee brides are lucky to have you - they may think they want "traditional" of the local market, but even though you can give them that, you bring sooooo much more to the table with you.
Here is the final montage in it's frame. I like it! Set up is tomorrow! I think I am ready. I cheaped out on the printed materials and deceided not to hand out any gifts, not to offer a show discount and not to hand out pricing. Basically I had some 1/3rd sheet (the long way) brochures printed on card stock and cut for me and some note pads with sign-in info. Hopefully that will be enough. I would have liked to print more albums too but my budget didn't allow. I have 3 or 4 of my guestbook albums s so that will hopefully be enough.
Its still going. yesterday was better than today. i would say 2 slamdunks from yesterday but no ink yet. probably 30 people asked me to contact them after the show so from that i may get one or two more. lots of people interested in dates i already had booked.
Lots of compliments and interest in the booth
Here are some statistics on my wedding port views. I'm sure this is puny compared to many of you, but it certainly shows an increase in traffic because of the show! Show was 11-12 and 11-13
I've got 4 apts booked already from the show and 2 that are scrambling to set a date and find a venue so they can meet with me the week after TG. This looks like it will pan out pretty well for me, but still the proof will be in the ink!
Thanks again to all who rode this little coaster with me!
That booth looks awesome! Glad you got 4 booked! were they all from the showcase?
Thanks for the kind words!
I'm not sure what you mean by showcase, but assuming you mean the bridal show then yes they were all brides I met at the show this past weekend.
Wow, I'm impressed...you are way more handy than me. Very nice. Good going.
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them. Educate yourself like you'll live forever and live like you'll die tomorrow.

Which bridal show are you going to?
