#2 stands out to me from these shots, the kid in the middle steals the scene for me. love it.

So what do you mean your students? and where are you?

Hey Liz. Thanks. I'm a middle school teacher in D.C. These were taken during a field trip to the National Arboretum.

Absolutely beautiful skin tones in these shots. I assume this is your continued use of film (which one).

Agree with Liz that #2 is a gem. It is middle school kids trying (and not fully succeeding) at looking cool. I recently took pics of a sixth grade girls volleyball team. They are better at the silly look than the cool look. The cool look shot looks silly... mwink.gif

What's most apparent in these, Damon, other than the tonality ;-), is your obvious connection to the kids and vice versa - really wonderful.

#3 just reeled me in.... That girl will go places with those kind of facial expressions.

bd was right about the connection. That's spot on and quite apparent. thumb.gif

Thanks Scott. She's beautiful isn't she? Also super smart, respectful, and just nice. I was happy to capture that moment.

    another piece of the puzzle.
A middle school teacher. That takes a certain something. Since you are a teacher, I will now stop w/ the incomplete sentences.

Great share. I now demand more throughout the year ok? ok.
