"Arrange" (in SmugMug View) is glitchy and photos not keeping their places

That does not look right) But anyway, I'm just using the tool within a SmugMug gallery view-- the little box that you check "Arrange" & just move stuff around with the mouse. I can move the photos, but they don't stay where I put them. They stay until I go to a different page of the gallery, and when I page back, they're in some random order, seemingly unrelated to any previous positions. It has happened with a whole lot of different ones... basically, none of them stay where I placed them. Something very bizarre is going on. I'll have to give it up for now. I'll check back here later to see if this was an isolated problem and/or if it's been fixed. Thanks.

I've just re-arranged a few of your photos to see if they "stick". I've arrange them as follows:

I've viewed the Gallery both logged-in, and logged-out - and the order has remained the same. I suggest that you try using a different browser for "Drag to Arrange" - and also upgrade your system's Java:

If the order of photos that I referenced earlier changes - please contact us immediately at the helpdesk (http://help.smugmug.com).

Thanks.. right now the arrangement you made seems to be sticking, and I just tried a few and went to other pages & came back & it held. So I'm gonna hope it was a temporary glitch. I checked, & already had the latest Java (thought so, as I just updated a few days ago). About using a different browser-- I use FF. Do you mean I should just try a different browser if I should ever have trouble, or what? I really dislike the other browsers. And that URL... it was simply what I copied out of the address bar when I was in the gallery. It shouldn't ever be that long, should it? It almost seemed as if several images' IDs were tacked onto the gallery ID at once?

Bump. And I just worked on another new gallery and was having the same glitchy-ness again.. .. This gallery: http://www.winsomeworks.com/Family/Children/Lydia-at-Living-Hope-Farm/19465034_BgP5rM#1523133982_2fshvN8 I'd use the manual arrange while in SmugMug view, and then I'd find some photos I'd moved had jumped to the end of the gallery or otherwise moved about. This did not happen with every arrange/move. Maybe one out of three arrangement changes would go awry after unchecking "Arrange". But it happened a lot, as I did lots of arranging. Also "Arrange> Arrange Photos" (within the "tools" section) was not saving properly either. I moved a whole section of photos & saved & later realized they were not where I'd put them. I'm in FF and Vista. I won't be around at all on Tues. to help troubleshoot, so have at it! As I said in post #3, I do have the latest Java, so it's not that. No one ever answered me about why I had such a long gallery URL in post #1. I truly do not think that is normal. It works, but I think I'm seeing these long ones after the odd arranging problems. Links should not look like that... right?
