I'm starting to play with the theme.

Here are two ideas. The marbles are out-of-date, but can be shot again.

Am I on the right track with either of these?

Thanks, Chris

........I'm starting to think my tastes definitely differ from the majority of group. As I wrote in another thread. I'm struggling with shots that hit the mark... But honestly, in many instances these types of shots do very well in the voting.
So I always have to preface by saying...."for me"......Laughing.gif........so 'for me'...I find it to be inside-the-box. I like the second candle shot, as a stock photo shot. I think that would sell.

Froch, I couldn't agree with you more. I have a strong idea of what I'd like to shoot, but can't quite make it happen. When I can't make it happen, I go the opposite direction and cook something up in my studio (one table and a light box). It, at least, gets me shooting.

I appreciate your honest feedback. It makes me want to try harder to work out my original idea.

Chris - love No. 2. I think it's a strong contender. Very crisp and colorful!

I like the colors in #2, but there's something about that cake that looks like a Twinkie....brightly colored candles on a cupcake--now that would be NICE!

I also like the crispness and liveliness of #2. As for the marbles even though they're out of date , I really like how you captured the stripes in #5 and the overall look. I personally really like studio set ups I guess. GP
