When I started shooting it was dead calm, by the time I was finished the wind was blowing about 65m.p.h. Timing is everything on this shots even at 30 second exposures.............seems everytime the camera is processing is when the lighting strikes..............lol. Oh well ya take what ya get. Wish I had some nice background or a fancy city skyline, hahahaha sentence before this one applies.

Thanks Gus I appreciate it!!!
Wow that looks pretty nasty Wally.......did it turn into a torado ?
Those clouds look amazing....... and how lucky were you to get a lighting bolt in the deal hey way to go Wally!
I tried to shoot a storm here months ago, but it was too windy and the rain was coming in on a 45 Deg angle so I retreated to the indoors
Those clouds just scream "LOOK OUT" ...... what a cool shot.

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
Thanks very much Skippy!!! That storm cell produced some hail to the south, but we did not get any, nor any rain. There were tornados to the north, but none close to where I live.
Here is the same photo processed differently (better?)

Yep, we see lots of them round these parts, usually in the spring. Thanks for looking Aviator327!
Where in Oklahoma do you live. I lived on the south side of Tulsa for a couple of years back in the early 80s.
