What a great little series! Nicely captured. I think #3 and #5 are my favorites with #3 in that typical father/son mode and #5 young love being just that.

The first image however intrigues me. Thinking he had the camera backwards at first, I looked at original size image and two items popped out. First, was that a brand new suit as evidenced by the red tag still on the cuff? But more important was the little detail on the shooters hand. A series of numbers and a pattern, almost as if a tattoo. I wondered if that is indeed a tattoo and if so, what for? Or, is it just a pen and marking? Hmmm..... headscratch.gif

I thought it was pretty unique that he was holding the camera backwards. He may have been trying to figure it out.

Very likely, he thought that the red tag was part of the decoration on his new suit. Either that or he was proud that he had a new suit and wanted to let eveybody know that it was new!

The ethnic Chinese Muslims I met were very friendly.

China was a fun place to shoot because no one seemed to mind being photograaphed. The Chinese children are beautiful and a photographer is not suspected of being a molester if he photographs them...

Very nice. I especially like your third capture. That's the type of photo that really grabs you.
