#1 has a very strong tie to the theme, is nicely done in terms of composition and lighting, and is overall more pleasing to me than #2. I get a strong sense of nostalgia from #1, even though I never had one of those cameras.

and yes, I know it is flat. It was the first and last time i've ever done that, this shot is over a year old, too.. (I know, it is against the rules to run the old pictures in contest)

... although it's a wonderful camera, for the contest I (personally) would try to make a much tighter crop, focusing only on the lenses.
