My New D700 and 24-70 2.8
:clapThe D700 is awsome. It feels like quality from the switches to the shutter sound. My first Nikon since my f3. I was on the dark side way to long. It was so noisy over there. The d700 reminds me of my contax rts in the way it feels. My last Nikon was the F3 also. Not sure about the battery issue, mine comes right out.
