These things give me the creeps, sure are ugly! I like the 3rd one the best, great expression on his face.
Did you see any of the older males, don't they have colourful faces?(or is that a different species??) Would have made a good shot for 'nature's colours' challenge.

    Nice shots.

    Hi Daniel,
This species is Hamadryas Baboons which are quite aggressive. The one with the colourful faces are Mandrills. I have not been able to get a good photo of the males yet. My wife does not like the Baboons as well.

    Regards Tim:):

    Hi Tim,
I like the shots and I think the little one is cute (in a 'little old person of the forest' way). I love watching the interaction of Baboons, very interesting; Quite the socialized creature.

    Thanks for the post,
    Chris

I dig the close up thumb.gif
Monkeys (all of them) are great photo subjects and wonderful creatures for all the obvious reason (so close to us) !!

Well some of us (you know who you are blbl.gif) even closer :lol4 :lol4

Nice shots, but I think the first one needs either an 18+ rating or a black rectangle on his dangle. rolleyes1.gif
