My son James reading his music book while waiting for his teacher.

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

    I like this. Reminded me of my sons when they were younger. May I ask .. Did you light up his face somehow or was it from the lighting above him?

    Hello, Mary. Thanks for viewing. I did both. I used the SB-24 and set to zoom at 85mm for a more controlled dispersion and then bounced it at the ceiling (a low ceiling) then add some post-processing lighting effect to elevate the exposure on his face and the book. My vision for this shot is a dimly lit room with him lighted brighter than the room like a semi spot light effect.
