Marc Muench and I just used a Nikon D3X and 200-400vr and a Canon 500 f/4L for 3 weeks in Africa - the service, shipping and quality of the gear couldn't have been any better. I <3 BL, always have. Sam, i'm sure your experience is not the norm and you ought to give them another try. We at SmugMug love BL, and that's why we feature them on our ClubSmug page.

Off topic, but I am curious what you thought of the D3X and the 200-400vr as an avid Canon shooter, unless that post is elsewhere.

On topic, I have been wanting to give Borrowlenses a try to sample a Nikon 600mm vr. Happy to find out they stand behind their services. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Awesome to hear! One of my favorite lenses in my kit. Although I use D3 's, I actually am giddy every time I pull them out of my case.

I look forward to the compares! Thanks much! :)

Thanks Andy. Next time you go to Africa let me know if you need a sherpa :)
