Hi,

I have 3 photos here that I'd like to know your opinion about please:

#1 Joy - this is the improved version of my current entry

#2 Tourists

#3 Friends

Which one should I go with if any...?

Thank you,

Being partial to B&W my personal favorite of the 3 is Friends. There's a bit more left to the imagination re: the mood of the shot and again that plays to my personal preference. The composition is well done. The mixture of high key and low key lighting enhances the overall effect.

The Joy shot is great and the title is apropos.

The color and lighting in the tourist shot is very good. I especially like the framing that placed the canoe just below the centerline and the absolutely wonderful way the canoe fills up just the right amount of the frame. Unfortunately the foliage in the foreground is distracting enough to bring this one in at #3 for me.

Thank you very much for your comments.

I posted this yesterday and seeing no replies at all , I assumed that nobody liked them,
so I just uploaded another image, which I think is better anyway :)

    Thank yo again thumb.gif

I haven't checked your latest entry, but wondered if your "joy" shot would allow you to include all of the shadows? that might be fun. I like the black and white, but it seems a bit soft on the focus.

Thank you - I didn't like it with full shadow, even though - yes, I thought about this too.

I'll stay with my new entry (for now).

I am certainly spending more time looking at this one. I hadn't looked in the gallery lately.

I like it... and I think I like it better than #3

headscratch.gif I was thinking about this...

"Friends" has more to tell and to look at - it tells a story and it has mystery. It's about each of them with their own personalities and in the same time about the 3 of them together. When I made the graphical layout, this is what I had in mid. However, in the meantime I was so busy and worried with my business that I forgot what I wanted...

Thank you so much for this - I really appreciate it thumb.gif

The friends shot is still the clear winner in my mind for many of the same reasons others have given.
