Video sales in Traditional style galleries

I know Traditional style is being phased out, but I still find it to be the most useful style for video-only galleries because it shows captions with the thumbnails. I recently noticed that video sales do not work properly with the Traditional style (or really the old single image view).

Pressing the buy button shows "this photo" grayed out. If I choose "photos in this gallery" and then switch the product to a digital video download, I can select videos to purchase. But that's obviously not something a customer would figure out.

I've mentioned before that I'd switch my video-only galleries to the new thumbnails style, but it truncates the captions horribly. I consider it another bug. I've posted these examples of very short captions that become useless in the new style before:
