I'm having a problem the last couple days I've never experienced before. The uploader says all the files have uploaded (photos and small video clips from my compact camera) but the gallery is missing all of the video clips. I've tried several times, but the videos continue to disappear :scratch. I've never had problems uploading these types of video clips before.

Anyone else have this issue?

I apologize that's happening. We are currently looking into why .avi files are not being accepted by our video system. If you can convert the file to an h.264 .mov, it should be accepted without issue.

If you would like us to convert and upload that for you, please feel free to write us at the helpdesk and we can get that taken care of.

Any other formats/codecs/containers being affected? headscratch.gif Or is it just avi?

It was mainly the m-jpg codec that was affected (which usually seems to come in mov or avi files). The problem has been resolved.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. I first thought it was the codec, then I figured out that video was 11 minutes long (one minute too long).
But since SM now allowes longer videos, everything works fine. ;-)
