I was honored to be invited to join this program. I use their software for noise reduction, optics correction, light/shadow tweaks. (Now if I could gt a similar deal with Apple for Aperature software, THAT would be sweet...)

DxO LABS ANNOUNCES DxO IMAGE MASTERS SHOWCASE

A gallery of images by professional photographers and rising stars from around the world linked by a passion for photographic excellence.
DxO Optics Pro image enhancement software is an indispensable part of their workflow.

Paris, France October 20, 2005 – DxO Labs today announced its new photography gallery, DxO Image Masters, showcasing the work of professional photographers and rising stars from around the world who integrate DxO Optics Pro into their workflow.

“DxO Image Masters is a dynamic venue in which to experience the results--and advantages--of DxO Optics Pro digital image enhancement software,” said Luc Marin, Vice President of the Photography Business at DxO Labs.

DxO Image Masters debuts later this fall with 17 photographers from Germany, Canada, Puerto Rico, India and the US and UK and whose passion and expertise encompass the realms of fashion, portrait, equine, wedding, aerial, panoramic, landscape and wilderness, nude and architecture. These first 17 DxO Image Masters are: Aneesh Bhasin, Alain Briot, Keith Cooper, Ian Coristine, Nick Crossland, Jeni Fong, Hank Gans, JR Geoffrion, Lynne Glazer, Alan Haynes, Mark Junak, Heinz Kleim, Dwight Lutsey, Paco Márquez, Richard McDowell, Kurt Motogawa, Dan Santillo. The list below includes additional information about these photographers.

While the specialties of the photographers vary, one common thread is their demanding standard for perfection and, hence, their use of DxO Optics Pro digital image enhancement software at the outset of their workflow to improve image quality. “DxO Optics Pro is a cornerstone of the workflow of the professionals who use it. Our hope is that their successful experiences will be an inspiration for others to try DxO Optics Pro,” continued Luc Marin.

DxO Image Masters can be found online later this fall at www.dxo.com.

DxO Image Masters is an invitation only program for professional photographers using DxO Optics Pro. Interested parties should contact pressrelations@dxo.com.

Congratulations Lynne, what an honor. And you will let us know when they get their gallery up, won't you?

Thanks, Chris and Dave, indeed it is an honor--and really nice for animal photography to get some of the spotlight. Will do when the galleries are up, should be interesting to see everyone's use of the program with before and afters.

**shameless plug follows** Truly if it wasn't for smugmug's ease of use, visual appeal (and the minor bit of customization I've done so far), I doubt they would have given my stuff a second look--the selection happened without my involvement, they just went trolling through the websites provided as part of registration of their software. clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif
