I know what you mean about 'that look' (which you've captured well). My wife's been out of town for a week and Belle, our black lab has learned to focus it on me. I can feel it on the back of my neck.

Yes ... dogs do talk with their face Ours seems to always be telling us what's up with her looks. She's got a voice that just won't stop either. No barking .. just moans in different tones which lets us know what she wants. She's a bossy old lady
