    Hi Jeromy,

    You have some real nice shots here. I doubt very seriously, though, that this plane was flying anywhere near the speed of sound. Military planes are strictly forbidden to approach those speeds at low altitude....and especially at air shows. The phenomenon you see here with the vapor can, and does, happen at speeds well below the speed of sound. Again, you did get some very nice shots.
