Looking for #1 shots at 420mm huh? Maybe that was your first mistakemwink.gif .
These are fabulous Ben. #2 is just awsome, nice timing. What is the green stuff on his chest in #1? Maybe he needs a bib:eat .

I need to spend more time browsing this forum. Damn those are nice shotsthumb.gif. I like them all, including the wing clipping. The closest to a raptor I see around here is a quail, slightly higher in the pecking order than the pigeons:D.

Yeah...Ben's a regular Dr. Doolittle. He talks to the animals.....but they just look at him confused and eventually ignore him.

Can Holy Cow be used more than once in a thread??!!! What an awesome series, Ben. I have one question, tho... how on earth can the bird still fly when it gets all waterlogged like that? Amazing shots...something I've never seen living here in dry and dusty Central California! Cowabunga, Dude!!! thumb.gif

Hey Thanks so much Nee, really glad you enjoyed
Birds don't really get wet, honest all birds have a dust (some have down) that is extremely water repellent.

In fact when I give my parrots a bath it takes an immense amount of constant water to even make them begin to look wet.

There's an old saying goes, "Trouble rolls of my back like water on a Duck", it is quite true (the water part)

Thanks again for enjoying my work thumb.gif
