Hi, Will. Good action shots. I like your crop on the long horizontal shot in front of the goal, but your WB is all ugly on that one. I'm guessing you were shooting jpg??
Local high schools have started regional tournaments here, so we're about done. Unless the home team makes it to states like they did last year.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah--I shoot JPG all the time. I rarely ever shoot at night--so I really have no idea what I'm doing. My old 30D only goes up to 3200 ISO, and is pretty noisy. I've also only got a 70-200 with a f2.8--so its really too short to catch too much. This field is lit okay--but still pretty dim. This game started at about 6:30 (the fourth picture above), shortly before sunset. The fifth picture was as the sun was really setting. I think the wide one was during overtime--so about an hour after sunset... I usually shoot AV and try and keep it wide, but I think after sunset I went to full manual, kep at f2.8 or maybe 3.0 and a SS of about 1/500 just to see if I could get anything...
Playoffs/championship in this conference (around Baltimore) run next week...
