can assistants purchase prints?

:scratch I plan to set up a new additional Smugmug PRO site, set basic pricing, then hide the shopping cart so the public can view but cannot order, and finally, allow only those I designate as "assistant" (with password) to order prints from any gallery.

My questions are,

(1) can a SM "assistant" account do the ordering if I already disallow the shopping cart site-wide?
If not, is there a work-around for what I want to do?

(2) is there a limit to the number of assistants I can designate?

    One assistant password. Yes, they can set a gallery to purchase prints if they wanted to.

    Thanks for the quick reply, Andy.
    Allow me to followup, this is crucial to my business model.

    (1) Understood that one assistant password can be given to a number of folks that will work on my site, BUT can they log in simultaneously?

    (2) When I hide the shopping cart site wide, visitors will not see it, but assistants will still see the shopping cart and be able to order?

    (3) Assistants will not be able to change my pre-existing pricing, is that correct?
