I like #1 the best of the 3. 1 & 3 are very similar so would have been good to have some more variation. In #1 the hair could do with going back just a little further to reveal her eye more.
In the 2nd shot she looks a little fed up, I would rather see stronger emotions displayed be that happy, sad, very strong, or a soft look. The hands on the hips is a power pose so a power expression would probably be better.
In the last the right eye as we look is too dark for my taste.
I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.
Thank you for the input. I'll keep in mind about the hair covering the eye next time. In the second picture she was actually giving me some lip hahaha. Thought the picture kinda portraid her personality. We are going back to that spot a little later in the week to reshoot with a different outfit.
#1 is very nice. I don't think you need to show more eye. There are way too many "rules" of posing, all of which are made to be broken. Your shots looks mysterious, which seems to be exactly what you were going for. If you're going back and trying the same or similar shot, I'd think about bringing a reflector or a remote flash to get a hair rim on her since it would probably bring out her highlights better and separate her from the back wall. But even without it, you've got a lovely portrait.
