Fall Colors at Convict Lake

Really love the different colors in the rocks on the first one. Having some fall colors helped too!

Struggling with the WB on this one. Any thoughts?

I definitely like #1 better. WB looks ok to me on #2, but maybe boost the contrast a bit?

Like #1 the best. Maybe put a exposure gradient across the water in #2 to give it a little depth?

#1 is an excellent shot!
#2 looks like a contrast issue to me? I'd be interested to see it with more contrast!

Both of them are lovely shots. I think both of them could benefit by a curves adjust. CS5 autocolor corrects the cast on #2 and I have to admit I like the effect. I realize the shot has some early morning color in it, so removing it entirely might not be realistic. But it does give it more pop. I often split the difference in a case like this.

I'm still using CS2.

I already add quite a bit of contrast (curves), especially #1. It is early morning so I think it should have more a blue cast to it. I think I removed too much. I'm going to sit on it for a while and re-visit it later!
