Sorry for all the posts so this is the last one for now. This was shot during the Reno Rodeo and I finally got around to processing it. The lighting was a challenge.

I call this one:
Contrast

I really like this one! It seems to tell a story and makes you wonder what it is. what is their relationship? I like pictures that make me daydream! TFS!

Great color and use of shallow DOF.
    If not now, when?

    Hi Eric,
Thanks for the kudos. The contrast of young and old stuck me. After looking at the picture, I began to see contrast in color and shapes, hence the name.

What was strange is that if you look at this shot and push the red sat, you can see that the complexion of the youth is even and the other soul is a bit blotched. It was quit interesting seeing the difference in health through the adjustments.

    Thanks for your kind comment,
    Chris

    Hi Linen,
Whatever they were watching, I missed because I was pointing the camera in the wrong direction. I too like this shot and didn't mind missing another cowboy being thrown off a horse.

    Thanks for the comments,

    Hi Rutt,
I think having the soft focus in the forground and the hard focus on the youth worked out quite well. It softened the aging process.

This shot was full frame, hand held and they were quite close. I gotta remember to put the exif data with the pictures.
Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

    Thanks for the comment,

This was one of my early attempts with LAB color corrections:D.
