How theme-worthy are these? I guess it might depend on whether you have a fear of flying, heights, or fair rides or not!!!

1 Fear of heights?

2 Don't try this at home

They are all theme worthy for the challenge, although I'd say #1 and #2 depict courage more than fear. The rest of them are about facing a fear, and amusement park rides are all about thrill and being afraid. I really like #6 - like the comp and the slight motion blur, but most of all, you nailed one of my fears with that one.

Also find number two to be very courageous! Yikes. What a cool capture against the blue sky!

I like the first 4 best. The others don't show people... so it's hard for me to see the theme there.

I think that while the amusement park shots are snazzy, the biker depicts the theme better.......and I agree, he looks super against that blue sky....

I like #1 but I think it depicts courage better - with the rider's knee being separated from the bike it seems all the more daring. I also like #4 because of the angle and the flag but feel it's not quite as strong on theme as #1. GP

Thanks for all of your comments. I agree that not being able to see the people on the ferris wheel detaches it from the theme a bit.

I don't know. When I look at the ferris wheel, fear comes to mind for me. I don't like heights though, so I guess if you like the ferris wheel, you won't think 'fear'. If you don't like the ferris wheel, you will think 'fear'. It is definitely a toss up.
