    Beautiful trees; I appreciate the photo and color since I know it can be rare in the desert. I go here quite often especially when the trees turn! Yay.... color in the desert!

    Don- great colors in the trees and I like the flow and color of the water. Wish you could have had a great sky to go with those colors though.

    Part of the Verde river system over in the Camp Verde area by chance?

    Excellent colors. Hard to believe that's Arizona.

    Aaron, kdog, thanks. This could be Arizona but it's actually on the Rio Grande in northern New Mexico, about 25 miles below Taos. While I was there, the skies were cloudless. You can't have everything.

    And I thought that was AZ! Was it cold?

    Eia, it was about 32F at dawn (when I took this) and around 70F in the afternoon. Perfect!

    I won't start yet another autumn thread, but here's a different shot of cottonwoods.
