    That's funny Brian. Once I thought I was so clever that I spotted a Great Blue Heron hiding under some branches in teh shadows on the other side of a river. I set up my tripod and shot away to find out in post that I had shot a stump! Haha It happens to us all at one point or another, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

    Thought the first accident looked a bit liked ET - ie didn't make it home.
    I thought of removing the second one and sending it to the Tate Modern art Gallery in London :D

    but...
    ...the "bug' in the second shot was a bug once, wasn't it? Those look like bug parts to me, with a leafy thing stuck to it.

    Yes I think you are right- or in fact bits of several bugs carefully reassembled by a spider after sucking them dry.
